1st place at the Festival «Russian gingerbread» received «Sazhinskiy» Confectionery Plant.

  There was a festival «Russian spice cake» held on May 15-17, 2018 on the main exhibition site of the VDNKh. The festival was organized by the Russian Guild of Bakers and Confectioners (ROSPiK) and the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia and held during the Second Eurasian Breading World Forum «Bread is the World». The program of the event included specialized exhibition, master classes for traditional Russian spice cakes making and decorating, a contest of spice cake tasting and giving the «Spice cake - a visiting card of Russia» award, as well as round tables to discuss current issues of spice cake production.

  Sazhinskiy Confectionary could not miss this significant event and took part in the festival program. Especially for the exhibition «Spice Pyramid» was made - a four-tiered composition made of branded «gift» spice cakes with a filling of prunes and wines with a diameter of 70, 48, 20 and 11 cm. All spice cakes were hand-painted by professional confectioners-decorators. The pyramid amazed not only the participants and visitors of the festival, but also the members of the specialized commission. For its beauty and originality, the masterpiece received the Cup and the Diploma of the 1st degree in the nomination «Decorative product made of gingerbread dough».

  The Cup and Diploma II degree in the category «Spice cake souvenir» was given to the spice cake «Sazhinskiy art gift spice cake», painted in Russian folk style. A diploma of the third degree in the nomination «Spice cake made with the help of automated equipment» was awarded to «Mint spice cake» of TM «Sladkiye gostinsi».

  Demonstration of Sazhinskiy Confectionary abilities in spice cakes production business at the festival attracted new admirers of the creativity of the masters of the enterprise and new customers - connoisseurs of unique sweet gifts. We proved that a spice cake can be a piece of art.
