Thank you, Heroes of the Great Victory!!!

 On 3 September, 2017 in the city of Voronezh at the building of the “Sazhinskiy” confectionary took place the solemn ceremony of opening the memorial plaque dedicated to the hero of war and the grandfather of the General Director Sazhin Sergey Mikhaylovich - Don Fyodor Stepanovich. 

  Don Fyodor Stepanovich was born in Kirovograd Oblast in 1907. His childhood and youth passed in the terrible revolutionary years and the hard times of the Civil War. Fyodor Stepanovich dedicated many years of his life to the fleet. In May 1945 Fyodor Stepanovich continued to be on active service in the Red Army. During the Great Patriotic War in the rank of senior lieutenant, in the position of infantry company commander he fighted at the hardest area of the Great Patriotic War – the Stalingrad Front, he passed a glorious battle route from the Stalingrad walls to Czechoslovakia. He was five times wounded, of which - seriously wounded  twice, three times contused.

Interesting facts

  First the surnames “Don” and ”Sazhin” met during the Great Patriotic War. The division commander who signed the order on decorating  Don Fyodor Stepanovich was colonel Sazhin.
