World Blood Donor Day
In May 2005, during the World Health Assembly, representatives of different countries decided to have annual World Blood Donor Day on 14 June. The date was coincided with the birthday of Karl Landsteiner, Austrian physician and immunologist, Nobel Prize winner, the one who discovered blood groups. 193 states UN members, 181 RC/RC national societies, 50 voluntary donor organizations and numerous experts in blood transfusion from all over the world participated in the event.
On 14 June 2017 celebration of World Blood Donor day was held in Kursk as all over the world. The event was held in the regional budget institution of health of Kursk region "Kursk regional clinical blood donor center ". Sazhinskiy Confectionery being a community-focused has a wide experience of participation in various charity events. Together with the Ministry of Health of Kursk region, it was decided to reward the donors with Sazhinskiy confectionary products. This demonstrates a high degree of products confidence and is deserved acknowledgement of the excellent quality.
